This page allows you to set up your music4Uonline account. It is intended as the
access point for single sites on monthly contracts paid by credit card. You can
also access our free trial here.
Discounts are available for multiple sites,
multi-zone sites (different music in different areas of one building), and
longer duration contracts. If you wish to take advantage of any of these
options, please contact us directly. In addition,
if you wish to open an account with us rather than paying by credit card,
please get in touch.
Free Trial
Our free trial is perfect if you are interested, but not yet ready to commit to
a contract. The trial lasts for a month and will give you a feel for the
functionality available. You will have access to the website, where you can
view the music library. You will also be able to download the player. This will
be provided with 10 tracks from the current chart (around 40 minutes of music)
to allow you to see it in operation.
This is not enough music to allow you to play continuously as the system will
not allow a track to be repeated within an hour of its last play. The trial is
therefore not a viable solution if you want to use the system in your venue,
and is instead just a taster of what is possible. If you actually want to try
the system in your site, we would instead suggest that you take a one-month
contract. If you are not happy with the service, you can then cancel before the
end of the month with no penalty.
Under the terms of our music copyright licenses, we must be able to verify the
identity of all clients. If you do take the trial, you will therefore still be
required to provide full credit-card details. These details will not be used to
take any payment unless you choose to upgrade to a full account. At the end of
the month's trial, you will be given this option. If you do not wish to
sign-up, your player will simply cease to operate and no charges will be made
to your card.
Whilst using the trial, you can easily upgrade at any point. Buttons for this
purpose will be provided in a number of areas once you have logged in to the
site.

Pick A Music Policy
To help you get started as quickly as possible, we have put together some 'default
profiles'. These are broadly suitable for different types of venue. By
selecting the profile most similar to your business, you will be automatically
assigned an initial selection of music. In this way, you can have music playing
within around five minutes, depending upon your broadband connection. You can
then change or build on this profile later if you wish.
You can view a sample of the tracks within each profile by clicking the 'view
tracks' button next to your selection. The system will 'shuffle' the tracks
within these profiles, so even if you are using the same profile as another
venue, you are extremely unlikely to play the same track at the same time.
Once you are a client your login will allow you to take
as much or as little control as you require. If you feel that none of these
profiles are correct for your business, select 'Other' from the first pull-down
menu and you will be assigned an empty profile. You will then start with no
music and will have to build your own selection from scratch. This can also be
used if you wish to manage your own music, and do not require the guidance
provided by starting from a default profile.
We find that many clients prefer to start with an existing
default profile and build on this to tailor it to their requirements. Once you
login, you will find a range of easy-to-use profiling tools to help you manage
your music. You can of course ask us for assistance, or utilise our bespoke
profiling service (see the bottom of this page).
How Much Music Do You Need?
To
enable rapid access to our service, we take payment by credit card. If you

In
order to comply with the music copyright laws, each of our packages consists of
a track limit and a monthly 'update' allowance. For example, the 1250-track
contract offers an additional 20 tracks per month to switch into your selection
of music. This means that the 1250-track contract actually allows you a total
of 1490 tracks per year.
To
put this into context, an average track is around four minutes long, so 1490
tracks is roughly 95 hours of music. This gives over a week of 9-hour days
without a single repeat. At the opposite end of the scale, the 10,000-track
contract gives a total of 13,000 tracks per year, which is around 850 hours of
music. This is over a month of continuous 24/7 playing without repeat!

package gives access to the full database of over 75,000 tracks from the

Do You Need Profiling Support?
Our studio team manage the 'default profiles',
so if you are using one of these, your music will automatically remain
up-to-date. After sign-up, you can take partial or complete control over your
music choice at no extra charge. This enables you to put together a bespoke
playlist for the prices given above.
We can provide and manage bespoke playlists on
your behalf. For this we charge an additional monthly fee to cover our
profiler's time on your account. This fee depends on the number of updates that
you require each month. If you wish to take advantage of this service, please
