Music4Uonline.com is the web delivery solution of GMS (Recordings) Limited one of Europe's leading audio management companies. GMS advises and implements audio solutions for clients covering hardware, software and audio content (music, messages and advertising).

Music4Uonline.com is designed to allow you to click your way quickly and easily through to professionally managed music delivered to your web connected device. You decide how simple or how sophisticated you want your service to be and you can see how much it will cost before you buy. You can cancel the service at one months notice.

The technical stuff

You need speakers and an amplifier that are either built into or connected to your web enabled device. Most personal computers with a broadband connection to the internet fit this description if they make sounds, but be aware the quality of your audio will reflect the quality of the amplifier and speakers used.

Your web enabled device (computer) will need to run a Microsoft Windows operating system (98 or later) and have at least 64Meg free memory to run the Microsoft Media Player 10 and .Net which are free applications that work with the Microsoft OS. Most personal computers are compliant with these requirements. The small patch of software we will download to your computer to manage the media player we call the "client" software and this requires very little system resource, either in memory or processing power. Keeping fifty hours of music, approximately 750 tracks at your site will require some two gigabytes of hard disk memory. For those not technically minded this is not a lot of computer memory. Audio files in the MP3 format we use are not very hungry for disk space. We encrypt the music files and distribute a key to the code to your site.   

When you become a client you'll be given an option of when you'd like to download our audio management software (which will be saved in your PC). This will take a couple of minutes, but this can vary greatly depending on your internet connection and network traffic. If it takes more than a couple of minutes you can either download the software later from the music4Uonline site after you've logged in, or contact us debi@gmsmusic.com.

After the "client software" or media player has been installed on your internet device or computer it will automatically collect the tracks you need from our music library. Once the media player has two tracks on site it will start to play. This depending on connection and traffic takes about two minutes.  Normally the media player will continue to collect tracks until it has all your play list material at your site, but, if for any reason the media player is switched off it will automatically update your play list whenever it is switched back on. The media player does not need to download all the music in one sitting, but it only plays what is stored at your site. We don't play "streamed" music as we find the quality is not reliable.Our audio management software enables you to download and manage your chosen music according to the services you pick and your budget.
