Managed 4U
Music4Uonline can offer utter simplicity if required. At
its most basic, no further input is required from you after
sign-up. You can simply leave it to play: 'set and forget'.
When you sign up, you will be asked to select your business
type, e.g. 'Traditional Hotel', 'Contemporary Restaurant',
'City Centre Bar' etc. Our studio team use their knowledge of
the different types of venue to compile 'default playlists'.
The system will assign you the correct playlist for your
business type.
Your machine will automatically collect updates at least
once a month. This means that your music will stay up-to-date
without any input from you.
The 'default playlists' are based on a standard customer
profile for each business type. They may not be suitable if
you have an unusual mix of customers or non-standard trading
patterns. If this is the case, you have a couple of options.
You could choose your own music for no extra cost (see
ManagedByU). Alternatively, we could provide tailored
playlists (see Customised4U). The latter will incur a
profiling fee.
Even if you plan to manage your own music, Managed4U can be
a good place to start. It will give you time to get to grips
with the system without needing to learn the profiling tools.
You can then easily upgrade to 'ManagedByU' once you are
ready. Managed4U and ManagedByU cost the same, so your fee
will not change when you upgrade.
Getting Started
Getting your music with a Managed4U account couldn't be
easier:
- Sign-up and select your business type
When you sign-up, you will be shown a list. You
will be asked to select the type of business most similar to
your own. This will automatically provide you with the
correct playlist for your venue type.
- Connect your PC to the Internet and download the
software
When you first log in to your new
account, you will be guided through our easy software
download process. If you buy a machine directly from us
(rather than using your own PC), the software will be
pre-loaded.
- Connect your PC to the Sound System and start
the player
When you start the player, it will
begin downloading music. It will start to play as soon as it
has collected two tracks. The download will continue until
the player has all of its music.
Unless you want to get more involved, the player should
need no further input from you or your staff. You can control
the volume using the normal controls on your sound system.
If you don't have broadband, don't
worry - ask about our CD-updated musicPro systems.
